Observation

Posted by sleepynj on February 11, 2004 at 09:04:37:

I want to point something out those new here and wondering what it takes to get better. In a word, committment. It is clear that those write words of encouragement to the group are those that stayed the course. That is the one common denominator. Few people write that over night their insomnia went away. I look at Chris and Noorjte (spelling?) who struggled, but stayed the course with SR and they have recaptured their lives. For those of you who are looking for an overnight cure, it doesn't exist. You have work hard at this and even then you will still have the occasional bad night. Therefore, that is the one piece of the puzzle I can clearly see, committment to recover works. Pills don't and everyone who uses them returns to the forum later with worse problems. That is another consistent observation.
