Thank you, Tom-

I had to laugh when you wrote not to go to bed until I felt sleepy because I walk around in a constant state of sleepy. My eyes feel scratchy and my body often aches with fatigue. So that is not the problem. I am one of the lucky ones with both sleep onset problems and night waking problems. Lately, it seems I can fall asleep fairly well (within 1/2 hour- 45 mins.) It's the waking in the middle of the night that seems to be killing me now.

I intended to get the 61/2 hours reccommended by Wiedman, but I agree with you that it is too hard. If I go to bed between 11-12, when I am really tired and stick to a 7 a.m. wake up, that would be better. I have to overcome my anxiety about knowing I have to get up early. I suppose if 7 a.m. is now my norm, then it is not early, it is what it is. Before 7 a.m. will now be early.

Thank you for your continuing support and advice.
Carla
