I think you are definitly right about it not being helpful if you are very anxious/obsessed with the problem. However some advice on how you manage it would be appreciated.
Do you now find that you only have periods of bad sleep, or is it on going?

I can certainly see what you mean about there not being a "cure" for this, but I have to believe that I can some how get to a stage where people like Beth & Tom are.
It has already taken so much away from me. -I've lost my job and my social life has gone completely down the drain.

If Im quite honest I get very, very scared at the thought of having this for a long time.
I used to really enjoy life but now every day just feels like I'm being tortured, and knowing thats its just my own stupid thoughts that are doing this just makes it more upsetting.
