I'm with you Crusader. But I also understand that like anything you have to experience something for a period of time before you have any real perspective. I've got about 12 years in myself but fortunately have been sleeping well most of the time in last couple of years. I do know it will afflict me again at some point but I am very thankful for the sleep I've been getting. Sometimes I find the postings or non-responses of some newbies as needy and in some cases rude to others but I think that it's mostly a reflection of the intial pain and misery caused by sleeplessness. It takes a while to dig out from under the negative effects of not sleeping. And I also agree wholeheartedly with you "fight the fear".
