I was curious as to your response on this, as I take Elavil too and want off it. I can't lose weight for the life of me. I did post above about getting my hormone levels checked myself. My endocrinologist wouldn't check mine other than thyroid, as "i am not in menopause" she says, so no need to. I tested them and 3 out of 5 came out abnormal. I am going to try to see another endocrinologist. I did take trazadone a couple times, but caused migraines in me. (I get migraines). But, I do hear people that take Elavil can often take trazadone as well. the lab is called zrt lab, you can find it online. best wishes
