When I first got insomnia caused by a roomate waking me repeatedly for 2 weeks in row I couldn't go to sleep without drinking a lot. That went on for 3 1/2 years until I started running.
Then I could get to sleep but couldn't stay asleep. I also started lifting weights around that time. I find that weight lifting and running helps me sleep.
I only started using Sonata a couple of years ago.
I was very reluctant to use it and only did so because I was starting a software company and had to be able to function every day. My daughter has been a big source of stress for me as she had a child out of marriage and one day she called me and started screaming over the phone. It really affected me and I started using much more Sonata.
A couple of months ago I stopped taking Creatine and started using more herbs to sleep and more Sonata and a little Klonopin. I can't bench as many reps as I did just 2 months ago. I think it's a combination of the Sonata and the herbs and maybe even stopping the Creatine. The Sonata also seems to cause pains in my body that I've never gotten before. I get pains in my knees and shoulders and hands. I really believe it's because of the Sonata.
