The likelihood of your problem being a result of magnetic fields is rare. There are so many disorders that can cause insomnia that are totally unrelated to magnetic field it is improbable. Some people may sleep better because of a placebo effect. Don't believe everything you read on the internet. They are trying to sell you products. I did a healing workshop where someone asked the instructor about pain and sleep and the use of magnets. She felt that sometimes magnets can help pain which could help sleep but if the magnets were set up with the positive and negative sides not in the right direction, it could make things worse.

Bottom line, I would try the sleep test on this site to see if can pinpoint the true problem.
