subconsious

Posted by nosleepforme on June 09, 2004 at 12:49:41:

Is it possible for our subconsious to take over and control our insomnia, even when we dont realize it?
I know, I am asking a ton of questions and they may sound crazy, but please any response would help. I like so many of you have tried everything.

I want to try and look at this at a different angel.
In some ways, I think that my mind is trained to have the insomnia as a way of protecting me. Sometimes I will feel like I am right at the verge of sleeping and then, I will completely be awake. Like my mind has said - NO< NO, DONT SLEEP.

Any suggestions on how to tell my mind, my subconsious mind, that sleeping is OK, that is allright to go to sleep.

My insomnia started because of a great and tremendous fear for me. I was afraid, shaky, etc etc. constantly dwelling on this fear. (It was a fear of going to Hell, I was in a church drama). Now, I cannot sleep because of it.

Any suggestions
