i wonder the same thing as well. have you picked up that book
everyone talks about on here...i have it but i forgot the title. it
has some good info. worth checking out.

so last night, i was so close to sleeping on my own w/o ambien
and then the phone rang... i was sooo mad. it was midnight and
my friend called to say his wife had her baby... for any other
reason i would have been mad....LOL.... then i couldnt sleep.. i
took half an ambien and slept so-so.

my insomnia started because of a great fear as well. more that i
had contacted some awful disease and i couldnt get it out of my
mind.... i had bloodwork done twice and both came back
negative....still cant sleep though... i think i was so worked up
over it that my body is still coming down from the anxiety i
provoked.

i know you arent crazy... i have the same feelings... i feel as if i
am on the verge of sleeping and then i will be completely
awake... and my eyes and mind are just alert.

so weird... where do you live btw? im in NYC... maybe it is some
al qaeda thing.....instead of biological weapons they put
insomnia gas in the air...LOL... think about it!
