You might be right about “biological weapons” and "insomnia gas" in NYC. There are too many things that make the city sleepless. Ironically, those are the same things that make it so popular and exiting. I guess it comes as a package. There is an article about the NOISE pollution and Mayor’s proposal about reducing it in today's New York Times: "Trying to Tame the Noise in the City Is No Easy Sell". Here is a citation from the article:
"Chronic noise, elevated noise is a very potent stress, and stress is bad for you," …It can lead to high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis and even loss of short-term memory.

Now I’m really curious to find out how many New Yorkers are among us? Should we all move to Honolulu? I’ve heard, is the best city for sleep.
