My bed has never been too soft. I have Fibromyalgia and nothing ever can feel too soft! I just recently got rid of my old beds and bought a softer one and am feeling much more comfortable, thankfully. My low back pain almost totally vanished. That got one major sleep obstacle out of the way. The next was that I was too hot in bed. So I got an air conditioner this week and that removed another obstacle. I also had moved back in early spring, to a quieter, apartment and neighborhood and that removed a great obstacle also. Now the only obstacle left is my messed up circadian rhythm, which I will be tackling next, possibly with Chronotherapy. I had indeed corrected my biological clock at one point a year ago using a sleep-wake schedule and lightbox but then got very sick with Bronchitis which wiped me out for 3-4 weeks and reverted my cicadian rhythm back to it's old ways.
