Personally, I think subconcious has a lot to do with insomnia. it seems that we focus on the topic so much that the idea of not being able to sleep has actually seeped into our subconcious...we have in a way "trained" ourselves to not sleep.
tomorrow, i am going to my first session of hypnotherapy to try to overcome this terrible battle i have had with insomnia the past 1 1/2 years. i don't really know much about hypnosis other than that it does have something to do with dipping into your subconcious thoughts. i will let you know how it works.
the clinic i am going to in atlanta (where I am paying out the waazoo), claims they have over a 90% success rate with treating insomnia. in my mind, i am telling myself that this is really going to work!! we shall see, but I have faith!
