Palbo, what a horrible thing to happen to your friend. You just never know when your time is up. I'm so sorry...

I had my first vacation away from home since my recovery. I was a bit nervous because I have such a schedule that I follow to make sure that I sleep at night.

I slept well for the most part there were a few nights that it took me awhile to get to sleep, but I was able to, and that was a huge victory for me.

I went to the Grand Canyon. If you've never seen the Grand Canyon I can't recommend it enough. It was SPECTACULAR.
