I'm a frequent reader, but seldom post.

Thanks to all of you, and your inspiring posts, my insomnia is slowly impoving. SR has made a huge difference! It's hard, but once you see the benefits, its gets easier as you go.

I've also managed to wean myself down to a quarter of a 10 mg Ambien each night (I guess that's 2.5 mg). I have gone slowly with this process--1/2 a pill for about a week, then 1/3 pill for about a week and now 1/4 for about 3 days. I have seen no deterioration of my sleep progress as I reduce the amounts. No withdrawl symptoms either, that I'm aware of. I think I feel less anxious about sleep because I feel I'm almost over the sleeping pill hump.

Keep the posts coming--they have helped so many of us so very much!
