How's everyone?

Posted by DCTom on September 27, 2004 at 08:42:42:

My turn to ask how everyone is doing this week. Last week was a week of milestones for me. I slept 7 hours one night; I was able to get back to sleep several times after waking; it never took me more than 1 hour to get to sleep; and on 2 nights, I took me less than 15 minutes to get to sleep. Needless to say, I am far from being recovered and my sleep is not very good quality, but progress was made. I had a setback one night but by now I know a bad night is always followed-up by a better night. I am almost always sleepy now too, which is good as my sleep debt seems to be taking over. At times I really get frustrated and discouraged. I have to remind myself to look back a few weeks and months in order to gauge my progress. A message to anyone who is doing SR: Be patient with yourself. Progress is eradic and slow, but eventually it gets better. You made it this far, you can make it all the way.
