well, i wish i could say i've seen much improvement
but i haven't. i think i've developed the ability
to get along and function on less sleep than
before, but i still feel exhausted and lacking
in energy, so I am not able to accomplish as many
things as I used to. right now i'm focusing
on being very disciplined and not allowing
myself to stay in bed later than 5:30 no matter
what, and going to bed at exactly 12. we'll see
what happens if i can keep this up religiously
for a few months. i currently sleep maybe 3 to
4 hours a night. i usually get up a few times.
i have a tendency towards sleep maintenance
insomnia after 3 or 4 AM. Sometimes it can
take 45 minutes or so to get to sleep
initially. i may dream a few times during
the night but a lot of the time in bed
is semi-awake, so probably stage 1 or 2.
