I had a terrible weekend. I was trying to go down on my 1 mg Ativan, i.e., 3/4, etc. I always fall asleep, but the waking up is giving me problems. I am sixty years old and I just don't have the energy anymore. I felt so weak all weekend, I could hardly do the things I needed to do, forget about anything pleasurable. I had to cancel two things I had agreed to do with others. I am sleeping two hours or so, and then wake up. Maybe I fall asleep again for another 2 hours, and then I am awake about 4 or 4:30. I feel so tired. I go to bed at 11:30/12:00, and get up at 6:30/7:00. I walk every day and eat right, no coffee, no tea, no smoking, no alcohol. I meditate and do relaxation exercises. I don't nap during the day. I try to be spiritual about the whole thing.

I know SR works because I had to do it many years ago at the Stanford Sleep Clinic. But it is so darn brutal. (Just complaining!!!) Casablanca
