when doing sleep restriction, i find that
i have a hard time staying awake. I can
easily doze off at certain times of the
day. this tendency to fall asleep happens
because of sleep debt. the idea about
not taking naps is that, if you do
doze at various times during the day,
you're paying off your sleep debt, so
you'll be less able to sleep at night.
the fact that i can easily doze off
during the day doesn't mean i don't
have a problem staying asleep at nite, alas.
