I absolutely agree with you! I often exercise (30 minutes on an eliptical machine) after dinner (7 to 8 p.m.) and sleep just fine. I am also taking B complex vitamins, Calcium, Magnesium supplements.

I have been falling asleep while my hubby watches TV in bed almost every night. (He watched news television--that is probably why it puts me to sleep!) I slept much worse when I stuggled to stay awake downstairs, feeling lonely and miserable, knowing he was upstairs.

I also agree that the getting up at the same time, weekdays and weekends is vitally important to overcoming this. I backslid a couple weekends ago and let myself sleep until 8:30 both days (instead of getting up when my alarm went off at my usual 6:30). I had a terrible time "getting back on track" during the following week. As much as I love sleeping in, I love sleeping at night more!
