Restoril (temazepam) dose

Hi,

Every 2 months or so I fly from Australia to LA. I would really like to spend this time sleeping but have been unable to find anything that works.

So far...

I've tried 15mg Valium, which just made me feel really relaxed but not sleepy, and...

I've tried Restoril (temazepam) 30mg which also made me feel really relaxed and a little sleeping but I still didn't sleep.

Should I try 40mg of Restoril, or a higher dose of Valium, or is there a drug that's better suited to sleep than just being a relaxant/anxiety treatment?
