I had one that lasted somewhere around two weeks. What I mean is that for two consecutive weeks, I had more than 3 nights of not so good sleep each week. I did sleep well on a couple of nights during the bad patch.

Keep in mind that outside influences such as a child may give you enough angst to keep you up. This is your opportunity to practice letting go of the daily pressures of life while you prepare for bed time.
