well, if you have to get up at 7AM to prepare
to go to work, that gives you part of your
sleep schedule right there. You should always
get up at the same time, no matter what, even
on days you don't work. I know this can be
really hard to live up to. I don't always
live up to it myself. A basic rule
of thumb for figuring out how much time to
stay in bed is that, to start with, you should
add 30 minutes to the amount of time you're
currently sleeping, but probably 5.5 or 6 hours
in bed is a good minimum. At least, I found it
to be a minimum i could stand, and that is what is
usually recommended. It's best to avoid "what if"
thinking. None of us really knows what is going
to happen down the road. I try to take things
one day at a time. Good luck.
