Ambien quitting

Posted by Sleepseeker on January 27, 2005 at 02:50:23:

Hi,

I'm making progress on my crusade against Ambien. I've been on ambien for over 1 1/2 years. The last 6 months i had daily dosages of 35 mg. Ive been tampering for 6 days now. I'm now at 25 mg a night (and have been for tha last 3 days). I feel alot better. I didnt sleep good (about 3 hours a night), yet the absence of ambien makes up for that.

Everyone here seems to suggest reading SR book's. I have another book (text actually) you might want to read into. Its useful for those who are using Ambien daily, and are having problems stopping with it it. Its called The Ashton Manual.

Does anyone has any experiences or tips about sleeping better? or stopping an ambien addiction?

I would be glad to hear them
