No improvement in sight

Posted by rj on June 01, 2005 at 16:18:38:

In August it will be 2 years since my insomnia started. I've posted my story before. It has also been 4 months since I stop taking the meds. As I mentioned in my other post I have seen no improvement at all. Still only getting 2 to 3 hours a night. My body was ajusting, felt lousy, but could get through a day with no problem. The last 2 weeks I'm still sleeping the same amount of time, but I feel terrible (Tight chest, sluggish, jittery, etc.) No real big changes in my day to day life. Now I start a new job tomorrow morning, it is a physical job, have to be on my feet 9 hours a day, will be training for a while where I will have to be able to concentrate and learn new systems. I just found out about the job today so that isn't causing the new problems. Anyone have any ideas what could be causing the problen also any tricks to making it through the new work day? One last ? Why in the heck am I not seeing any improvement after being off the med this long. Alot of you seem to be making great improvements and sleeping 4 to 6 hours. Coulds use some good advice.
