For me, I know that if I don't make some changes to my life, eventually the insomnia will return. The anxiety has to go somewhere. For me it went to my sleep. So now I have to do things to lessen my anxiety or I know eventually it will go back to my sleep. And no doubt I was drinking too much caffeine and sugar. So I feel, Tom, that you are in part correct. There are very few things you can "do" to cure insomnia. But in the long-run you'll sleep better if you live better. And living better means eating better, getting fit, and worrying less.
