Hi Tom
I had lots of symptoms - exhaustion, backache (always worse when I slept badly - ie worse than usual), inability to stay awake in the evening (regardless of who was visiting) but now when I sleep poorly none of this happens. At that time I "knew" this was due to my insomnia - but now suspect it was me (somehow) not the lack of sleep causing them.
Maybe I had the many awakenings impairing my sleep quality that you have but then why did my body start doing that for no reason.
I just think that there are underlying effects from life stresses.
