Hi
I just wanted to say that I was on Paxil for a few days or a week and it was awful - it makes insomnia worse - Paxil is an SSRI - although lots of people can take SSRIs - I cannot - it wires me and makes me worse - Zoloft as well - I have been on amitriptyline for years - 100 mg now - started at 50 - but that has been my lifesaver - a tricyclic antidepressant - its cheap too - anyway - just hang in there - we all are where you are at some time - you might want to tell you doctor about the Paxil wiring you - too bad these SSRIS could not help me - they help a lot of people though - i'm just not one of them - i'm doing better since they increased my amitriptyline - my pharmacist says its okay - and it is still used a lot - major side effect is dry mouth and hypotension - but doing okay.
