well, i do all those things but still no
improvement. I've been finally sticking
religiously to the schedule...the problem
i had in the past was not being able to
get up every single day at 6AM. Now that
i've moved the time to 7AM, i have no problems
sticking to the schedule. And i force myself
to stay up til about 1AM.What this does is that it does knock out
sleep onset insomnia, and seems to compact
the sleep in the first half of the night.
So, i go to bed at 1 and sleep til around
4 or 5. But then i wake up and can't get
back to sleep. Night after night this
happens. So, i'm sleeping on average
around 4 to 4.5 hours a night right now.
According to the SR program, I'm not allowed
to lengthen the time in bed til I achieve
85% sleep efficiency consistently for a week
or two. But I've never been able to do that
since I started SR over a year ago.I've also lately started doing meditation
every day. This does generate a relaxation
effect. But so far this has not been
sufficient to overcome the sleep problem.
