Question about stress and coping.

Posted by optimistic on September 28, 2005 at 14:01:10:

Hi - right now i have to wait three or four days for results of an abnormal heart test my husband had - i was very upset about this because they have to get his old bypass records but with this modern age and because of HIPPA regulations we have to wait for the processes - he feels fine but this type of thing effects my sleep - i am a worrier and was born in a family of worriers - my sleep is not good and need to take tranquilizers, or whatever to calm me while i wait - anyway i was just wondering if any of you have had similar problems in coping with serious health issues and how did you get through it and sleep - i just hate this waiting and who knows when i really will find how - it may take more than 4 days to get his records - anyway, my husband feels fine and maybe it is just from the old bypass operation he had - anyway would appreciate any of your coping skills in how to relax and get some needed rest - thank you for listening to me -
