I also tend to worry and my mother was a worrier and that is what led to the beginning of insomnia for me. Living with insomnia has forced me to look at myself and try everything I could get my hands on.

I had an operation several years ago myself and I was very scared. I belonged to a support group and so I talked about it. I also meditated a lot and used all kinds of sleep and relaxation tapes. I also prayed a lot. There is help out there. If in doubt, try it all. Wishing you the best and a good night's sleep.
