My husband was doing silly things to make me laugh in the last hour before my bedtime so I would release my anxiety around it. He's tall and has very long feet. While prancing around with his antics he slammed his toe into the hard frame of the sofa.

Days later when he went to our doctor(an MD who practices Natural Medicine -- a real find)for acu-puncture treatments for his back problem, the doctor noticed the loose big toe nail and asked about it. When my husband told him that he had banged his foot trying to make me laugh, the doctor replied, "A real hero."
