Dear Tom

Thanks for the reply. I know what I need to change- I need to change my whole life. I need to stop allowing this to rule my life. I need to start doing all those things I find so terrifying, such as making plans, organising things and actually forcing myself to look forward to it.

I need to find a way to enjoy my day DESPITE my lack of sleep. I need to find a way to stop caring about insomnia. That seems to be what you have achieved, Tom. How did you do it? How did you remain optimistic despite the lack of sleep. In particular, how did you remain happy on those awful days when you have no energy and feel that indescribable exhaustion that only the insomniac can understand?

I am very grateful for your help.
