Insomnia is not a disorder, it is a complaint. The key is to find out the cause. There are sleep specialist that deal with insomnia, not all do. Try reading the Insomnia Information Page on this site.

Insomnia is not impossible to cure so don't drop her because of it.

It can be caused by the enviroment, sleep hygiene, a sleep disorder, sleep misperseption, the list goes on. If you really like her I would have her seek help in finding the cause.
