Posted by bellhopper1 on February 15, 2006 at 05:45:40:you know the feeling when u r absoloutley overwhelmed with anxiety, and u cant help but obssessing about different and creative ways your lack of sleep will destroy whatever uve got planned for tommorow...
well, what if u had a big important test, one that you took a special course to help get u preppared for, one that you have been studying pretty hard about three month for?
its not like I (yeah, this is not just a story...) wasnt aware of this problem, its not like i havent thought about not sleeping the day of the test (maybe that was part of the problem), i just told myself that logically, there is no point to my anxiey...
well, i didnt sleep at all that day and was absoloutley horiffied... kept thinking how i screwd it up, how i can never get the grade i wanted and other more deppressing thoughts involving self hatred and such..
I now know two things.
one, how it feels like to take a test after a sleepless night of anxiety (not that bad).
two, that it doesnt matter... i got a grade which puts me in the absoloute highiest percantage of the entire population :) (i wonder if it could be better if i did sleep).i just wanted to chear some people up (hope i did), and to get it in writing...
By the way, do u think mentioning that i got that grade after a sleepless night gives it a more comic sense, or a sad one?
