As you know, sleep apnea and insomnia are very different animals even they they can frequently occur together. When I see the term sleep center or sleep clinic, I automatically think about a place that specializes in diagnosing sleep apnea. A small subset of sleep clinics also have staff that are trained in providing CBT for insomnia.
It could explain why nobody mentioned anything to you at the sleep clinic.
