I don't know to what extent your sleeping problem is, if its every night, how long you have suffered this way, how does it affect your day time hours, but to be honest I am a little bit more concern with your not joining by choice, Its a big commitment and if you don't really want to do it, you should do some real thinking about it. I served 4 years enlisted, and it was by choice, and it pushed me to the limits at time. Having a sleep problem can be serious, especially if it affects you in the day time, readiness, alertness, focus, the army want its solidiers to be on the top of their game. They will work you hard and there will be many nights you will go without sleep. I think being up front is important, Have you had your physical yet? If not I would definetly talk to the doctors at the your physical about this.I will be honest if there is a real problem it might effect your being accepted, but I don't think you want to go in, only to get booted a little later when it affects your preformance. and they may want to have this investigated first. ONe other thing to consider is getting a sleep study done, so you know whats the matter yourself and make a discion based on that. I hope it all works out for you, one way or the other.
