Ha! Well I have to admit, I did have the feeling that that was stressing me out. It was really more the limited opportunity to sleep rather than the journaling that did it to me, because I had devised a way to do it without looking at the clock at all (basically I have a program on my PDA that will put time stamps on a memo pad, and I covered up enough of the screen with a cut-up CTA transfer so that I didn't have to see the times while still being able to click what I needed to to lay down the time stamp and verify that it was put there). But I did want to give it six weeks before I gave up on it, and it did show me that I can fall asleep if I keep a consistent schedule, so I guess I got that out of it.
