Hi - I was put on Paxil too for anxiety and insomnia - it made it much much worse - Zoloft a long time ago worked the same - i did not sleep at all - i mean NOTHING - SSRIS are bad for me and have a hard time understanding how people can stand them - i could never - my amitriptyline helps me over the years - does not make me anxious but sleepy - hope this helps - be careful with SSRIs.
