Just checking in

Hey, everyone, just wanted to stop in and pass on a little phrase that I ran across...which is this:

"The future is not some place we are going, but one we create" (sorry I don't recall the author)

But this is so true. Regarding my own insomnia, I did not have any improvement until I changed my mindset. Your mind is incredibly powerful and has the ability to HEAL. You have to know this. You have to know that in there somewhere is the key to unlocking this problem.

I know probably not everyone in here is Christian, but bear with me and let me give you an example of how powerful the mind is: In the Bible Jesus regularly healed people from their diseases and afflictions....but the thing was the person being healed HAD TO BELIEVE IT!...otherwise Jesus was incapable of making it happen. It's the same thing with each person's mind-body connection. You have to BELIEVE that the key to unlocking this mystery is not to be found anywhere but inside you. The magic of healing is something YOU CREATE -- it's not something you find.

And really, it's like that with any disease -- not just insomnia. As proof, can you name me any modern medication that can CURE any degenerative disease? I'm just asking for ONE. (hint: don't bother trying, there aren't any....because denerative diseases can only be cured by REGENERATING the body)

And it's no different with insomnia. I didn't realize what I had stumbled upon several years ago...but now I understand why I was able to overcome it: because I looked totally within MYSELF -- and stopped relying on outside cures -- because outside cures simply do not exist in my opinion.

So even if it seems like you're at the end of your rope, please remind yourself that you already have the only tool you need to get better. It's more powerful than any pill or anything else you can find in the outside world. Tom
