I guess we've read different things. Antidepressants have been studied and approved for long-term use. Both benzos and sleep aids produce physical dependency and have far worse side effects. Any medication has potential for problems, I'm sure. I think the stories here about people struggling to quit sleep aids are enough proof for me. I haven't heard anyone suffering so much from trying to get off of antidepressants.
