Yes,to treat long term Depression with the sedating side-effect only being temporary for a couple of weeks.
I wished the remeron worked as well for me as it has done for you,but it just ain't strong enough for me.
The initial 2 weeks it was awesome.Better than Ativan and Ambien together but disapointing after
that.So I quit after about 3 months,then tried to go back on it again.It tends to work better for me taking 15mg once a week,so not to lose it's effectivenessI have no idea why they have not developed a drug yet that does not lose it's effectiveness.
True,the potential for Ambien and Benzo abuse is evident and they also tend to lose effectiveness over time.But I'd rather try these than things like Prozac and Anti-Psychotics which they are happy to prescribe and turn people into Zombies.
