I would like to say one more thing, i talked to a pharmacist a bit ago today and he said that some doctors do prescribe antianxiety meds for sleep in the beginning of an SSRI - there is Effexor - I took it couple years ago but i was on the XR - there is an immediate release and he said it is going to go generic this year - but anyway the XR I wasn't sure helped but if i was able to get some tranquilizer SHORT TERM - to help with this evening problem eventually maybe my anxiety will improve - i can quit the tranquilizers and slowly decrease my amitriptyline - not sure if i took that too - but that should be done gradually - cant remember if i went cold turkey on that or not but still on 75 mg at night - anyway - this is a good discussion - life is TOO short - right now i need to take care of this so I can enjoy life - my daughter was on Effexor for a while at 150 she told me when she moved but not now - and she said she felt great - dont know yet - Effexor is an SNRI - not a true SSRI - anyway - lots of good things to think about here today - but you said it didn't take 2 weeks to rid of anxiety - maybe more - pharmacist said it is DIFFERENT for EACH PERSOn which makes sense - anyway - who knows -
