I am not a doctor so don't take this as medical advice but......it may be that Paxil isn't the right med for you or that they didn't prescribe the correct dosage for you. Do you feel relief from daytime anxiety with it? If the answer is some but not enough it may mean you need a higher dosage. If the answer is not at all, you may look into a different med. Lexapro is very popular these days because it is very effective with few side effects. They gave me Zoloft because I was nursing and it was safe for that but there are many meds in that class to try if Paxil doesn't work. In any event, talk to your doctor or find a different one if your current doc isn't helping......
