I completely agree with yur reasoning Tom, but like I said, this appoach can work in certain situations, not all. In my case, going to work on little or no sleep was dangerous....mostly for my patients who deserved an an alert nurse who wasn't groggy, irritable and could think clearly and quickly in the event of a life threatening emergency (I was doing hemodialysis ) Once I quit the job and went back to something more familar, the insomnia persisted to a lesser degree and improved over time once my anxiety lessened. Glad it worked for you though!
