Hi Cassablanca - I have followed your posts most recently as you seen to be a lot like me - if you can share anything with us when you come back from the sleep lab we would all appreciate it - i did buy the book No More Sleepless Nights - was written i believe from a former Sleep Expert at the Mayo Clinic - haven't read it yet - but like you Ativan here and there helps me tremendously - but try not to take it every day - i also take amitriptyline 75 mg at bedtime - used to be on 50 - dont want to take 100 even tho my tablets are 100 - i cut them up - anyway, was so nice to hear from you as i have read many of your posts - good luck and if you learn anything new we would appreciate knowing. Also, as always I find when i start to get better is when i start thinking about other things and not about not sleeping - when you feel bad i know it is very hard but that is the secret to getting over this - when we got to bed think of way different stuff like rearranging rooms or lately started saying my rosary - stuff like that -
Good luck and God bless!
