Janet, I used to have people ask me if I had tried warm milk and I would be ready to jump them. Once a therapist suggested that maybe I didn't need that much sleep. That hurt. Needless to say, I didn't go back to him.
I just wanted to say something about your desire to get a puppy. I have a cat who is fairly quiet, and I do a lot of volunteer work at the local humane society so that I can be with dogs. I, too, would like to have a dog. However, I know myself too well. Dogs need walks, attention, brushing, etc. They are very needy in a way. Just something to think over very carefully. Puppies, though adorable, need a lot of attention and play and they are full of energy. I decided that, for me, only a large, very calm, already grown dog would be right. Large dogs are usually not big barkers and after their walk, they sleep a lot or are just happy to lie at your feet. Think it over really well, because taking them back is too painful.
ust my opinion. Casablanca
