The treatment that works is behavior modification therapy combined with psychological counseling, although this is often effective only after one gives up on finding the right drug. This treatment can work in a short time. The time required for positive results is directly proportional to the time spent suffering from insomnia, the longer the insomnia has existed, the longer the treatment takes. My psychophysiological insomnia lasted for 14 years and I saw immediate positive results after only 6 weeks and afer 3 months I got my life back.
