Trazedone also made me very congested. I've heard that from
other people too. Seems like a strange side-effect, but what do I
know.

To address the initial post, what I've learned from this whole
insomnia experience, is not to listen to so-called "experts." A
major sleep center turned me away because they didn't know
how to handle insomnia (the guy couldn't even recommend a
BOOK for me to read). Many doctors have given me their
opinions on insomnia and they all differed from each other. I
hate to sound ungrateful, but all psychiatrists are good for is
writing out a prescription. Listen to the people who have been
through insomnia, and most importantly, listen to yourself. What
you believe to be true is what WILL be true in your life.
