Remeron/Desyrel Weight Gain

Posted by sleephawk on October 16, 2006 at 14:18:46:

I'm considering asking my doctor for a prescription of either Remeron or Desyrel (generic). I'm a little concerned about the weight gain effect, and wonder if anyone knows which of the two is worse in that respect. Also, are there any other trade-offs, besides cost? It appears that Desyrel is much cheaper, so hopefully as effective. Thanks for any insight...
