Tomorrow is the big day

Posted by Casablanca on October 16, 2006 at 20:24:43:

Hello friends, just wanted to let you know that I am having a lumpectomy tomorrow and I will get home in the afternoon. So any good thoughts my way would be appreciated.

For a few days after learning the bad news, I had some trouble sleeping. However, some days later, somehow I was able to sleep again the way I did before. I think I broke the 35 year spell with reverse psychology. I admit, I am still taking a small amount of meds but it is all going so much better. I have to thank this board for helping me get to this point. No shrink or sleep clinic could have done as much.---

As for this being the night before an operation (I have to be there at 7:00 a.m.) I am not going to fret. If I get a few hours' sleep, great, if not, well, it's not goiing to be a fun day tomorrow anyway.

I will report in a few days. Thanks all. Casablanca
